ACAN Windows welcomes you to our corporate website. Established in 1989, ACAN specializes in the extrusion, manufacturing, and distribution of vinyl windows, sliding patio doors and entrance doors.
Capacity and Distribution
ACAN Windows is one of the largest vinyl window suppliers in Atlantic Canada, manufacturing its products in a 120,000 sq.ft. modern facility. It is the only manufacturer in Atlantic Canada that designs, extrudes, assembles and distributes its own products from pure PVC powder to profiles and to finished windows and doors.
ACAN supplies its products to both domestic and international markets through its wholesale distribution network: see Distributors and Dealers. Currently in Canada, ACAN is represented in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, while ACAN Window Systems Inc., an independent company in Ontario, supplies windows manufactured with the profiles shipped from our plant to the United States and Ontario.
Architecturally Sound Vinyl Windows
ACAN produces three complete lines of high quality vinyl windows for both new construction and renovation markets. ACAN's windows are certified by the latest Canadian Standards Association performance standards (CAN/CSA-A440 & A440.2) as well as by NRCan’s ENERGY STAR when manufactured with Low-E glass and Argon gas.
Wide Product Selection
Specifically, ACAN offers a variety of vinyl window styles including casements, tilt sliders, lift-out sliders, single and double hung vertical sliders, awnings, fixed pictures, hoppers, bays and bow windows.
Additionally, ACAN offers a wide selection of special shaped windows, including half-rounds, ellipses, arches, cathedrals, circles, octagons, trapezoids, and triangles. ACAN can also accommodate requests for special glass, including Low-E and various coloured glass. All products are available in white or ivory coloured profile and grills.
To complete the vinyl window line, ACAN also offers sliding and hinged door lines. Stock patio doors are available in standard 5' and 6' PVC doors with or without grills. Custom patio doors are available in different colours, sizes and configurations; including transoms and sidelites.
AD Entrance Doors are manufactured by ACAN: Commodity Doors, Decorative Doors and Specialty Doors. ACAN manufactures its doors with the highest quality material and industry proven workmanship, to maximize customer satisfaction under the most unfriendly environments in North America.
Outstanding Warranty
To support its confidence and commitment to the quality of the products, ACAN offers one of the best warranties in the industry - a Lifetime Warranty on all vinyl and hardware of window and patio door components, as well as a standard 15 Year Warranty on its sealed glass units. The ACAN warranty is also transferable to the new owner of a home where the windows were originally installed.
